Kane Area Children’s Museum Awarded $127,400 Grant from WPEF to Support Energy Efficiency Renovations

Renovations funded by the grant include the construction of two new family restrooms
equipped with high efficiency water fixtures, the renovation and insulation of two classrooms
and the library, the installation of 19 new, Creative Glass Systems air-sealed windows
throughout these spaces, roof insulation improvements, library envelope renovations, exterior
brick repointing and cleaning and new front doors installed and air sealed.
